"COTTON PICKIN' PAYCHECK" © 2001 Joan and Thomas Gosier Massa, I'm tired and I feel like going back home So just give me my COTTON PICKIN' PAYCHECK! Please let me move on! Massa, I know you done gave me dese big stock options and I have to think of dem loans But just give me my COTTON PICKIN' PAYCHECK! Please let me move on! Massa, I know my friends have lots of envy as they hit your corporate website But Lord, you know that diversity data aint even right. Oh Massa, I know my family is proud as they brag on this ole business card But Lord, you know that to stay in management it shouldn't have to be this hard. Massa I tried so hard to work these fields of cotton Just trying to make it up to the executive floor! But now just give me my COTTON PICKIN' PAYCHECK 'Cause that's all I am here for!

Humans Judge. God is the Judge. © 2009 by Joan E. Gosier Your stare cannot reverse my stance. My composure is not shook by your glance. No weapon formed against me shall prosper! No opinions of my confessions nor whisper Will add a single day to my life Will subtract a single pain or strife But if it makes your heart feel good Then do whatever it takes, it’s understood. But love for all mankind is my purpose. It is a deep felt love beneath my surface.
IT IS IF U BELIEVE THAT IT IS © 2009 by Joan E. Gosier If U believe u are free u will flap your wings and fly. If U believe u are oppressed u will lay down and die. If U believe u are a fighter u will fight until victory. If U believe u are a victim u will cry out in misery. ...but U get to choose your path. ...24 hours we each get to choose. ...how to use it wisely or just keep hitting snooze. ...some may have it easier...some may have it rough. ...24 hours is given to us...time is never enough... for those who waste and wallow...for those who are hungry and brave...every second counts...every person counts...every blessing counts ...freedom is a choice in the 21st century... IMHO...Based solely upon my 41 years of living and breathing air on my own accord...
