Welcome New Parent!
P2P (Parent to Parent)...A New Beginning!
Welcome to HBCU kidz! You must be so excited to have such a wonderful
new addition to your life. We are so happy for you. We at HBCU kidz not only
want to send you our best wishes, but we also want to offer you the very best
collection of parent resources available online.
Our mission is to promote the HBCU spirit through high quality baby
memorabilia and parent resources that increase global
support and awareness of HBCUs.
HBCU kidz was created by African American parents who dared to dream.
Our corporation started out of love and frustration. We graduated
from a Historically Black College and University (HBCU). We really enjoy
reconnecting with other HBCU alumni at the various Football Classics and
College Events. We wanted our children to be able to dress "like us" for
these photo occasions and memorable events! We started HBCU kidz
because we simply wanted our children to experience the love that we felt at
these events! The vendors and suppliers told us to wake up from this
dream and realize that there "was no market for infant, toddler or preschool
college gear in the African American community".
Thus our dream evolved to include inspirational gear and family heritage
gifts. We began to explore some of the negative messages that we all get
exposed to on a daily basis and how it could ultimately impact our children's
future success. We started to truly believe that if we could surround all of our
children with positive inspiration and motivational messages even when
they are out of our sight, perhaps we could really make a positive difference
in their lives! With much prayer and passion, we ventured out to create a
new brand that promotes hope, success and education for all parents. This
new brand promotes unity, education, family heritage, uniqueness, quality
and our nation's historically black colleges. We invite you to join our HBCU
kidz FOCUS GROUP...We know that it takes a village...
