What are U doing to pursue your passion in life?
Many people tell us that they love coming to visit this blog.
I just wanted to take a moment upfront to explain its purpose.
This blog was the "baby step" that led to a series of books that I wrote to fulfill MY PURPOSE and PASSION in life.
"Cotton Pickin' Paycheck-A 21st Century Journal of Escape from Slavery (1805-1988) fully explains and answers the questions I initially posed below in 15 LIFE LESSONS LEARNED from studying the lives of my ancestors and my own diaries and journals.
I completed and self published the first of three "blooks" (blog + book) on August 15, 2009.

This is a historic moment...In fact each day becomes more important than the day prior.
As U read the above article which was written anoynmously approximately 1 year after the democratic election of Nelson Mandela, can we learn from some of the stated oversights?
Do WE consistently seem to sacrifice true freedom for material posturing or as the kids would say "bling-blinging"?
We are witnessing a SEASON that we should have been and should continue to PREPARE. GOD IS GOOD!
