From Within I Rise

A [true] story of spiritual victory over “deathly” negative episodes and lifesaving encounters with “The Divine Presence” (God/Source), this self help revelation is powerful and inspiring!  A secret held for over twenty years has finally resulted in this    long awaited expression of love for God, self, nature and humanity.  From spoiled man child, to gangster men affiliate, to[true] self realization—the experience of triumph over one’s own understanding is full with the miracle of redemption and mental      transformation; leading to a new life of prosperity and well-being.
A former public school district colleague wrote,“Thanks for blessing me with your manuscript.  I  always knew you were cool, but I had no idea how thoughtful, insightful and    provocative you are.  I agree wholeheartedly with you that our thoughts and attitudes    determine our fates.  Once I started reading, I couldn’t stop.  Keep up the good    work—two thumbs up!” [Frank Mitchell -L.A. Unified School District]

EXCERPTS FROM THIS RIVETING TRUE STORY:

"Thus far in my (life) experience of cause and affect I’ve experienced far too many traumatic and dramatic episodes directly related to negative, or inappropriate, thought processes.  No doubt we are, in essence, what we think, feel and therefore manifest into this so-called reality; an 'illusional matrix' perceived as ‘life.’  With deliberate intent to instantly transform a life cycle of preventable and UNWANTED self solicited, negative life threatening episodes from continuing, I must, at this time, tell what must to be told..."  [page 9]

Cooling Well Water

Cooling Well Water

“Cooling Well Water: A Collection of Work By An African-American Bi-Polar Woman”

Beginning with the bold and gorgeous cover, a beautiful collection of resources, poetry, and prose reveal deep insight into the world of mental illness. Agnes comes forth with much courage and bares her soul deeply about living with an incurable brain disorder known as Bipolar.

From the bone-chilling testimony in The Vanilla Room and a powerful collection of short stories, readers will be inspired from the heart to join in this journey to raise awareness about Bipolar and support those loved ones who have this brain disorder with renewed love and hope. The poetry selections minister those living by faith as God reveals that He is Omnipotent.

Cooling Well Water is a collection of over 50 inspirational poems, a chilling testimonial of deliverance, and short “episodic” fictional stories creatively written. Readers get a glimpse into one woman's battle and determination to beat the odds of a stigmatized mental illness diagnoses by developing an up close and personal relationship with God. In doing so, she attains spiritual wellness and survives a bad marriage, a severe nervous breakdown, and single motherhood of three children.

Can you believe she even has a child with extreme developmental challenges that would send any normal parent to a nearby psych unit?

Agnes shows and tells how her life turned for the better after her nervous breakdown instead of for the worse in a very unique!

Through faith, Agnes was able to overcome fear, shame, and abuse that kept her buried in a valley so deep, all she could do was lay in bed day in and day out; scared for her life and of her life and her story serves as an inspiration to other individuals oppressed by society because of any disability.

Ever hear that God has the answer to all of life's questions? Well, He does and Agnes bears her soul to the world that God is real! “Cooling Well Water: A Collection of Work By An African-American Bi-Polar Woman” is all the proof you will need! Enjoy a few excerpts from “Cooling Well Water: A Collection of Work By An African-American Bi-Polar Woman” by clicking above and may God bless you and keep you free from your valley.

Bi-Polar affects over 2 million people in the United States.  It is a stigmatized mental illness that cripples individuals simply on its namesake. Through education and self-determination, an individual can live a productive, compatible life with the illness.  My testimony confirms this. It will encourage readers who are suffering from depression, oppression, and fear to not succumb to a life of pain.  My story will encourage families and friends to approach the sufferer of a mental illness from a new angle.  That is an angle of support and encouragement and not disrespect, stereo-typing, and stigmatizing.

This Collection will be targeted to mainstream America, but especially focusing on the African-American race group.  I will be promoting this Collection to organizations specializing in mental wellness such as the National Association of Mental Illness, mental health support groups and organizations, empowerment workshop opportunities, Church groups and associations, organizations that seek to help women in oppressing abusive relationships (i.e., domestic violence), organizations primarily focused on substance users and abusers, and general genres (i.e., Christians, Poetry, Health & Mental Health, Non-Fiction) to name a few.

"Briefly, I am currently an advocate, part-time teacher, and author.  These accomplishments come in the aftermath of being diagnosed with Bi-Polar and being told by doctors that my diagnosis was so severe, that I should be institutionalized for the remainder of my life.  However, when God gave me a vision for His purpose for me, I asked for the wisdom to realize that vision.  When God turned that diagnosis around for me, I knew I would never, ever stop praising Him!"

Edna Romell (Reed) Ransom was born in a little town in Middlesex County, Virginia.  She is the eighth child of nine children born to the late William Thomas and Ernestine Scott Chamberlain Reed. Edna was raised up in a Christian home; she and her family attended the UnionShilohBaptistChurch in Laneview, Virginia. Edna went to the MiddlesexCounty public schools and graduated from high school in 1972.
In 1973 she married her husband now of thirty six years Thomas Jesse Ransom and moved to Remlik, Virginia. They are the proud parents of three children and one loving granddaughter and one loving grandson  which was stated in the dedication. In 1980 Edna joined the Lebanon Baptist Church in Urbanna, Va where her husband was a faith member of.
Being at Lebanon, Edna learned more about the word of God and grew stronger in His word. In 1991and 1992 Edna attended the Community Bible Institute (CBI) two nights a week. She has accredited certificates in Bible Survey, General Bible, Counseling, and Revelations as well as many others, this is just to name a few of her accomplishments. In the spring of 1991, God called her into the ministry. She was licensed in June of 1991 and was ordained in November  1992 to preach the gospel of the ministry. Edna has been called to the office of a Prophet by God to speak His word to His people to help them to be the best they can be for the Lord.
This is Edna’s motto: I love the Lord with all my heart, my soul, my mind and my spirit. Everything can leave me but if the Holy Spirit leaves I’m running after Him with everything that I have in me, because I cannot make it without Him.
Thank you for taking the time to read my book on healing. I pray that it will help you in your walk of faith in the Lord.
